How to enable the waitlist

Understand how to enable and use the waitlist to capture interest for sold-out tour dates.

The waitlist allows travelers to register their interest when a departure is fully booked. It helps you capture demand for sold-out dates and follow up with potential customers later.

The waitlist is managed at the tour level and applies to all departures of that tour.

Permissions required: Tours → Read, Create, Update

Where to enable the waitlist

  1. Open the tour you want to configure.

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Settings (1).

  3. In the Waitlist for sold-out departures section, toggle Enable waitlist on (2).

  4. Click Save.

Once enabled, travelers will see a waitlist option when a departure is fully booked.

What happens after enabling the waitlist

  • Travelers can submit their interest for sold-out departures.

  • Waitlist entries are collected as leads.

  • You can review and manage these entries from the Leads section.

  • Enabling the waitlist does not affect availability or bookings - it only collects interest.
